Strelitzia Nicolai

Strelitzia nicolai – a species of ornamental plant from the Strelitziaceae family. Native to the Republic of South Africa, where it occurs on the shores of lakes, rivers and coastal areas. The flowers are white and resemble the head of a swan. Strelitzia is a hardy plant that can be successfully grown in an apartment or a winter garden. In summer, the plant can be taken out onto a balcony, terrace or garden. The plant needs a lot of light, even in winter. In spring and summer, the Strelitzia should be watered abundantly, but it should not be allowed to stand in water. Reduce watering in winter.
